The World Wide Web can be a beautiful place and, with the help of my friends, I’ve compiled an ongoing list of websites that vary from fun to functional, blissful to bizarre, nostalgic to new. Geo Cities, visualization tools, and more.. oh my! I think I’ve shared this before but there’s been a lot of talk about digital gardens lately so this is my contribution! Know of a Cool Website that should be added? Please Share!

Kris (from Naive Weekly)- This defines and maps the landscape of the ‘small’ web. This map highlights the projects and ideas that shape it. The result is a beautifully crafted site that offers a visual taxonomy of different ‘types of websites,’ along with a wealth of links to fascinating, personal, and often arcane corners of the internet. These digital spaces are curated by strangers who simply enjoy creating and experimenting online. Have a click around and see where it takes you. Personally, I’m drawn to the feral web this year; it feels fitting.

I wish I could re-rec with an image but this is in reply to @MARIAMARIA’s rec. I had to dig way back in my photos to 2022 and find the clay cow tools I made. Unfortunately, I abandoned them so they never got fired but maybe I’ll re-visit the project once I can afford pottery classes again.
