The app is glitchy, but is fun so far! Here are my asks:
right now:
- working in text hyperlinks.
- for some reason the underline text formatting doesnât work properly for me.
- the text box glitches a lot. I can only see 3-4 lines at a time and scrolling is difficult. Thereâs this weird white line that pops up over my keyboard and blocks my view. typing in general is really frustrating!
- the app is eating my battery, worse than video apps I use.
-would love to be able to add a password so I donât have to sign in with a link every time . For some reason I do not have this option.
- being able to group your pinned posts into different collections, like a highlight reel or playlist.
looking down the line:
- maybe expanding the ability to tag ? it could get tricky, and I donât think they should be expansive like they are on tumblr. but itâd be nice to click and follow tags for specific groups. maybe model tags off newspaper or magazine sections. style, lifestyle, news, music, film, misc online categories, etc. Having clearly defined categories, which are outlined in a how to use guide that pops up when you join, may help.
- adding a TOS condition to prevent far right extremists and bigots from joining. you should absolutely consider someoneâs offline speech before they join the online community youâre building.

-re-Rec with commentary: I donât actually think this feature is necessary. I donât want to see the same post again and again because a bunch of people replied with a gif or image. If I want to see or look for discourse or commentary, I will go to the comments section. i donât think this feature is necessary or useful for this app.

- more themes with dark text on light backgrounds, a girl has astigmatism and can hardly read the light text on dark backgrounds very well (it gives astigmatism people migraines if we try for too long without glasses)
- editing, sometimes error pages will constantly pop up if i try and edit a post
- blank prompts, after i submit an ask or a rec, a blank ask/rec page will pop up
- the first line in bios are cut out, no matter the length of the bio
- grouping system, if there is a way to group your recs into specific folder themes
- archiving, being able to archive old recs would be good!
- being able to click on the âwhatâs hotâ posts to expand the whole post and see what is written
- being able to click on an image and and expand the image/zoom in on the image

- Ability to paste text into the all-caps rec title
- Better prompt for Asks because a lot of users do not get it. (Alternatively have a checkbox for "Rhetorical Ask" and people can only reply with comments as opposed to recs.)
- Ability to add a photo to a comment
- Do some unsupervised machine learning on existing emoji/rec pairs to come up with other categories and/or extended emoji clusters for the Browse page, if any
- Ability to edit a comment
- The bullet-point hyphens in this post are rendered as black on mobile despite the main font being white

***note: I chose news based on how reliable and biased I view these outlets or podcasts after professionally watching and researching the news and politics for 5+ years. I chose outlets that are generally reliable, unbiased, or had a pro-democracy bias. Podcasts were given more leeway since most podcasts are entertainment AND news.
By reliable, I considered whether reports are factual and whether the writing was high quality (generally free from typos/grammatical errors, not written by AI, etc). I also considered their reputation among journalists (have they won awards, which awards, do I see reputable journalists linking to their reports, etc). For bias, I considered whether outlets have a tendency to a) editorialize reports and b) privilege anti-democratic perspectives. I also considered global and historical contexts. While "ranking" sites like allsides or ground news may say x outlet is very left wing, how would x outlet compare to y outlet in a comparable democracy? Are there any scandals that might question xâs reliability, and what accountability measures did they take after the scandal?

i live in a city with a bunch of rats so when I am walking about at night I play rat count. Whenever I see a rat I add a tally to my notes app and say ârat countâ.
you can play however you like for as long as you like, as long as you donât lie about your rat count. Estimations are okay, because sometimes you see a trash bag full of rats and you have no way of counting that. probably.
You can even play with friends, as a bonding activity. You could even add a prize, like whoever sees the most rats this month gets a little yogurt or pizza treat. and it never has to end. rat count can be forever.
