I own probably 5 pairs of over-ear headphones for varying purposes (and having a bad itch for buying audio listening gear). These ones are my favorite, for a cheaper option the Sony 1000XM3's are still a great model and since theyre like 3 gens old in the ever-churning technology deathmaw we live in you can find em for 160$ regularly. Avoid the Apple Max at all cost they're so shite and so overpriced. If you're looking for wired headphones basically every musician or dj I know owns a pair of audio technica ATH-M50x's and I've had my pair for 9 years now and they're still going strong.

Now I have not used a lot of Bluetooth headphones..and certainly not extensively so I can’t say it’s like “absolutely the best quality for the price and for Bluetooth phones” .. but when I was doing my research before buying a pair everyone said so

The previous generation of Sony's noise canceling headphones (current is the WH-1000XM5) that are ostensibly the industry standard. Sony sells them new for under $300. And if that's still too rich for your blood, look for a used pair of the WH-1000XM3 generation. They should be closer to $200.

Not over the ear but I’ve been really impressed by them. Not just for music but tv/movies too. Watching a movie on Apple TV with them sounds like a movie theater to me.
Over ears, Audio Technica and Sony are the go-to brands for affordable headphones (<$150 or so, I think)
I have AT over ears that I like. They’re monitor headphones, though, so they might sound dull to you after Beats.
I also have some fancier Hifiman headphones that I liked a lot, but I just use the AirPods now.

Free museums, botanical garden, and a ton of other stuff stuff and Libby you can rent ebooks and audiobooks from the library and listen to them on your phone or read them on a kindle if that's your thing, also look at this cute library card
