every two weeks there's an organic street market near my work and i always get fruits, eggs and vegatables. today i got watermelon, oranges, tomatoes, onions, garlic, leek, eggs and banana chips.

I live next to a nice Whole Foods, so this list is mostly just stuff I forgot/ couldn’t find at Market Basket:
✔️Coffee - looking for recs- I tried some counter culture in a dark green bag last time and it was 🧑🍳
✔️Hand soap
✔️pico & guac - for aspirational burrito bowls
✔️Green beans - current fave veg, the bagged fresh ones are surprisingly not gross. I cook mostly dry on an hot pan and add this sesame garlic ginger scallion sprinkle at the end.
✔️4 oranges (for a double batch of orange chicken sauce that’s so good)

feels obvious to even suggest this but have walked up to a nearby farmer's market by my work and bought veggies on a whim. my real amazement isn't about the amount or quality you can get for a price that (for me, at least) doesn't seem that much different from grocery store prices. it's about how fresh it stays!!
my kale! jalapeños! red cabbage! these onions! usually produce from grocery stores are done within a week, some certainly less. the fresher it stays, the more you can get your money's worth. feels a bit silly to realize this, but wow it's true!!!
