“Share a smoke on the sofa and blow a kiss to the cops
Here, help me move the kitchen table aside
Heaven Hill in the freezer for the bags stamped beneath our eyes
Opened miles wide
And all we'd seen
Was gold and green
Gonna make this garden grow
Inch by inch, and row by row
Row by row”
The other day, a business man, stuck in the 5 o’clock weekday rush rammed into my side, completely oblivious to the fact that I existed. He had his head turned down onto his phone. Naturally I peeked over only to be at a complete loss for words. This grown man had asked chatgpt “what is 35 divided by 4?”. So, while stuck in between the man who can’t do basic math nor open the calculator app, and the man picking his nose, I became to wonder, is this really what ai searches are like?
I read this piece and wanted to share it. (It’s not my work) “Never enough money to fund education,
always enough to fund wars Never enough money to house the homeless,
always enough money for bombs Never enough money for healthcare,
always enough money to poison our resources“
Takeaways: 1. I doubt i’ve ever wanted to live in a movie more than I have ever wanted watching this.
2. The best soundtrack in a movie i’ve ever watched (so far).
3. Oh to be a teen living in the 90s/early 2000s, working (hanging out and getting paid) at a record shop. PS: I’m on the lookout for contenders, please recommend ❤️
