edward was an elderly control freak who had way too much influence over TEENAGE bella. jacob thought bella's friendship meant he was entitled to a relationship with her, and then he mated with her infant daughter. they both totally suck, but imo edward is more palatable. i definitely don't find myself crushing on either of them nowadays or thinking bella should have done anything other than go to college far away and forget about both of them, but when i read the books at 11 years old my vampire obsessed ass thought a vampire boyfriend watching you sleep every night was the most romantic thing ever on earth

This is so real. I am reading the books right now and I just find myself hating Edward so much But I feel like most people are “team Edward”. Not that jacob is a good choice I just feel like, in the books at least, he is so much more respectful of what Bella wants and more attune to her feelings. Idk. I am only half way through the book though.

@POGSARUH the second book in the series is when i started hating jacob. he begins to really pressure bella to start a romantic relationship with him and insists that she just doesn't realize how good they could be together, etc etc. sucks especially bc i thought they were really good as best friends!!

But between the two, team Edward. Haven't read the books but that one scene in I think it's Eclipse? Where Jacob basically pulls a "kiss me or I'm gonna kms" where he threatens to run into battle because Bella won't return his affection... yeah, I was already a bit iffy on him at this point but this confirmed it for me. Really though, I watched these with a group of friends as a comedy, so I wasn't really on any "side" per se, I think they're all really dramatic. Bella is at most 18 during the course of the films, Jacob is even younger, and Edward is a really immature 100 year old. Even though she turned to a vampire for Edward I'm convinced IRL they would be divorced at 20.

doing stuff by yourself
best thing you can do for yourself is become extremely comfortable with being alone and doing stuff by yourself. at a young age i forced myself to get comfortable with that and now it's my default state-- i LOVE doing stuff by myself. my coworker is a person who literally cannot go places by herself and i have been trying to help her get more comfortable doing things solo because it's very freeing. everyone should be happy to go do stuff by themselves, it's lovely!

i will never get over polyvore shutting down. i used it obsessively and had hundreds of outfits made on it and mine were ARTFUL not like the stuff people say they saw on wattpad with like skinny jeans and converse and shit like mine were gorgeous. and then they shut down and i wasn't able to back up any of my stuff so i lost it all. HEARTBREAKINGGGGG
