There's few movies, shows, books, even music I revisit. But to the spirit of the question! The Glass Onion. I haven't seen the first Knives Out film yet. Plan to. But for a made for Netflix movie it was fun to see.

Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind.
(this has been my favorite movie since I first watched it at 14 and I really doubt it will ever change. I just popped in the dvd to watch the director/writer commentary and other special features yesterday.)
Zola.
(I’ve seen Janicza Bravo do Q&As about Zola live twice which is probably two more times that the average person.)
Springbreakers.
Fallen Angels.
Ingrid Goes West. The Royal Tenenbaums.
68 Kill.
Poor Things.
(I did not see enough movies last year, but I saw this one which is great because it was made for me specifically)
Are you sensing a theme in these films….

Mine have stayed consistent for about 4 years now. I will show American psycho to everyone I know and gauge their reaction. Do they feel like this is a good representation of their life? Dp they focus on the sex and horror? Do they get the time period and jokes? Do they want to be Patrick Bateman? All very important questions.
Inglorious bastards is the most enjoyable movie you could watch. A serious of tense conversations that end in almost everyone dying and most of them are nazis. Absolutely perfect.
Under the silver lake is a weird one. I love the movie for what it’s trying to do and don’t fault it for not succeeding. I watch it every year around this period, just before the summer heatwave. It is an essential LA summer, conspiracy noir movie that has more good ideas than expectation. It still represents me perfectly.
Hot Fuzz is a new entry on the list, I’ve seen it a long time ago and loved it but just recently rewatched it and realized it’s everything I love. People going on with a system that doesn’t really serve them, petty small town politics, taking your life too seriously, fucking up and it not really mattering, the importance of friendship and tearing everything down. Absolutely lovely.

But there was a guy at a factory job I had who kept quiet. He'd sit with use loud folk and didn't say much for 2 years. We brought up flat earth, big foot, and the like. He chimed in finally "Only one I believe is that superior procreation is achieved via anal" That's not an exact quote... But yeah we had him explain more. That stronger and more intelligent humans are conceived in a way the government and clergy are against. Because the normal way makes more compliant citizens. We were wilding at how serious he was. The barbarians that sacked Rome... Butt babies. I didn't go into biology with him. I left the job shortly after. Not cuz of this.

I'm not a conventionally handsome or even good looking guy. lol I can admit it I'm comfortable being me. Mostly cuz years ago a well dressed older pretty lady with a thick Tennesse accent said "Boy, the girls that know are gonna eat you up." That Appalachian witch cursed me with the best of luck that day.

Loads on plenty of tables right? The world. Your country. Your family & friends. Right outside the door. Plenty inside the door. Then there's the junk on your 🧠. Do what you want. Some of the stuff you have to do needs done. Want to do it. But there's silly stuff or awesome things or scary/unlikely tbings. Do those. Got time and a desire to do nothing? It's okay to do nothing. That's how a thinking creature copes. Keeping it in never does anyone any good.
