I personally don’t really have a connection to my name but I’ve always found that when I mention that to people they find me weird. Our names are tied to so many different parts of us so I don’t think you’re wrong at all for feeling connected to your name and not wanting to change it. Especially since ur named after such an important figure in modern media 🐾

I could probably change my name but I wouldn't really want to? Plus after more than 20 years responding to the same name it would be a struggle to see myself as a different name.
Regardless, I'm a major fan of do what you want. And if you're attached to your name and don't want to change it then who cares whether most people agree or disagree. It's your name. It would be inauthentic for you to do anything else with it.

I’ve thought about committing to going by my middle name when moving to a new place because of how much my identity is tied to my name. I never do though, because I can be whoever I want despite my subconscious connection and response to my own name. I think it can be an active thing you shift in your mind- to rebrand yourself while keeping the name. Changing it for good might just fast track that rebrand.

I've gone by so many nicknames that everybody thinks it odd to call me by my real name at all (some people even get it wrong), so I've accepted having different names from different people. I've always liked my name, especially since my mom put so much thought into it (even the fact it would make a good nick name), but unfortunately I feel like it no longer represents me. I've sorta outgrown it, so Im sorta looking for a new name. Either way the name that matters is the one you feel most aligned with.

WW3 is unlikely to happen due to the fact that full scale global war isn’t really possible with the existence of nuclear weaponry. That’s why global superpowers such as the US are much more likely to insert themselves into smaller proxy wars or use third parties (such as multinational corporations) in order to gain power. So realistically there won’t be a WW3 but that doesn’t discount the fact that the current state of political affairs is not looking good.

Nothing in the world that gives me more anxiety than being in a confined space with my family for multiple days on end. I feel like I emotionally regress and the tiniest thing will send me into a spiral of anxiety. Being on vacation with family puts me in such a bad mood I feel like I bring the entire trip’s energy down and ruin the vacation for everyone, even though my bad mood is almost always triggered by my family doing something they know will anger me. One day I will free myself from these feelings and learn to ignore and move on but for now I will wallow in my frustrations.
