i am not friends with people who do these but i have heard them in public and seen it online, in like the last year or two people have started saying the r-word and āgayā as an insult as if it isnāt common knowledge that those are offensive and intent doesnāt matterā¦ also the Blindness ājokesā?? ājokesā about weight or ethnic stereotypes or hating women? none of this is funny!
i would just like to sayā¦ can everyone please GROW UP it really isnāt that hard to be a decent person

idk if this is unpopular or not but
i think we need to more genuinely care about people. so much of how we interact with or rather criticise people nowadays is excused by simple ācaringā about someone meanwhile itās the rudest comment ever. if you really cared about someone in a genuine kind sort of way you wouldnāt say something to insult someone. basically what iām referring to is the commenters on instagram reels or tiktok on random peoples posts doing like completely unrelated stuff then theyāll just out of nowhere say something like āthis isnāt healthyā or any comment related to their weight or how they look. and theyād excuse themselves in a way as if they were looking out for the person and warning them of health risks when theyāre really just being horrible and wanting an excuse that makes them seem nice and caring.
unprovoked unkind comments on someoneās looks or weight will never be ācaringā, you donāt know this person!!! i think to be caring you need to consider someoneās feelings and i donāt mean acknowledging that someone might get upset about a comment you make, but acknowledging and caring that what you say might upset them so not saying it

2. unneeded
3. not considerate or empathetic.
