It makes me feel like a superhero when I just throw in a ton of random stuff and make a brown smoothie. It’s like wow so many vitamins and minerals. Pictured here we have spinach, pineapple date, blueberry, peach, ginger, lemon, lime, cucumber, ice, coconut milk.

-Equal parts frozen blueberries & bananas - 1-1.5 cup of almond milk (or milk of choice) - 1 scoop of protein powder - 1 tbsp of cocoa powder - 1-2 tbsp of Greek vanilla yogurt (or any you want tbh) - OPTIONAL: A handful of semisweet chocolate chips (for additional texture) Literally my favorite smoothie recipe ever, it’s not too overwhelmingly sweet, and the cacao powder gives it a hint of nuttiness/bitterness(?) to balance out the flavor palette

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time.
