This movie surprised. I find most modern movies akin to watching someone sniff their own farts. But Totally Killer took a cliche and didn't take itself too seriously. But still had heart and told a story.

saw natural born killers last night after seeing someone recommend it here, and HOLY SHIT THIS MOVIE WAS INCREDIBLE. it was a cinematic feast with the music video style shots, the animated cuts, the black and white frames, the neon green drug store portion, and the whole sitcom sequence. genius editing and cinematography. there is clearly the entire notion of the American media glorifying serial killers and giving them so much importance that it can almost be seen as them being embraced. but i'm sure the commentary runs deeper, for which i'd need to rewatch the film, i was too focused on the abso-fucking-lutely terrific stylistic choices this time.

the unflinching type of depravity you expect to see in 480p on effedupmovies.com, not in a chain theatre, yet made me want to be much kinder to myself
watch if you like: cronenberg, troma, having physical reactions to art, being a gorgeous woman in a tiny glittery dress
i also recommend fargeatβs other film revenge (2017) which is similarly gnarly.. one thing i love about her style is when her brain cooks up something uniquely gruesome she wants her audience to see every bit of it, not a single cut away in either movie

That's not an exact quote... But yeah we had him explain more. That stronger and more intelligent humans are conceived in a way the government and clergy are against. Because the normal way makes more compliant citizens.
We were wilding at how serious he was.

I didn't go into biology with him. I left the job shortly after. Not cuz of this.
