i love looking at them, i love that they release their fragrance at night, i love putting them in my hair when they've just fallen, and i love love seeing them in bowls of water, or in garlands or anywhere as decor. I think the white "graveyard" ones are my favourite, but I also like the ones with more rounded petals.

The fabric that the work is made on is called sanyan in Yoruba. Traditionally, sanyan is made of natural silk from caterpillar nests handwoven with white cotton.
