This is my favorite thing to do when I'm about to go to sleep and I need to relax my mind. I love Johnny Flynn's music but his live performances are on another level; these videos are just so hypnotizing to me! I especially love how the Take Away Shows are filmed.

we're starting this page off with what I'll probably be using it for the most: random mini-rants about the things I love.
and speaking of...I am completely OBSESSED with live music. tiny desk concerts? can't get enough. SNL performances? I study them like poetry. audiotree live? I want to give whoever came up with that idea a big fat smooch.
I've talked to a bunch of people who just don't watch their fav artists performing live. and, to each their own, but I think it adds a whole other artistic level to the music. and I personally don't know how I'd live life without my little youtube playlist of all my fav performances. If I were to become president, the first thing I would do is make it law for every single artist to release at least ONE live album...then I'd sit back and watch the rates of depression totally plummet cause everyone's having so much fun listening to live music (trust)
