(First off whether or not you can pull something off or if it’s flattering is is wholly insignificant as to whether you can/should wear it) It immediately puts you a bit out of your comfort zone and forces you to commit to a decision you made and reminds you you are in control and all of a sudden you’re driving the car and know you’re not really somewhere until you’re there and you can make any turn take any exit on your own whim, the same whim that whispered to wear that thing. I need to get writing done today so I’m wearing my bandana David Foster Wallace style (I’ve never read DFW) and I’m reminded I actually can do whatever the fuck I want.

👢Getting dolled up even when you have nowhere you’re going can be nice. Put some music on and strut around for a while. Have remembered/ revitalized some good pieces I have in my closet this way

🌀I haven't worn a headband in ages, but today I threw one on and instantly felt like a different person. I felt like people knew I wasn't a headband kinda person, but I lowkey rocked it. Feels good to switch things up every once in a while.

I love being a barista because it is so fun to not pay for coffee and taste horrifying extractions and bizarre customer creations (extra sweet caramel single shot breve iced) and take home what we can’t sell to customers. Behold the darkness of week old cold brew concentrate! A true depth of darkness only understood in certain light, black as midnight on a moonless night! Yum yum can’t wait have it with breakfast and feel each blood vessel moving through every artery!
