BBC radio 2 has this amazing show on a Sunday morning called “Love Stories.” Listening to love songs and hearing listeners of the show call in to share their own love stories is a great way to start a Sunday.
*warning*** some of the love stories have a tendency to make you cry (especially if you are hungover)
i love listening to the radio. it's great when i don't particularly want to listen to a specific genre of music and such a good way to find new songs. i also use it as my alarms so in a morning i will wake up to the morning news and then straight into some feel good tunes. my fav stations are:
bbc radio 2
bbc radio 6
kiss.fm
kisstory
a 1930s radio anthology of broadway plays & noir film recordings now available in podcast form. the static and trans-atlantic accents bring so much comfort and joy. i love to listen when I’m doing the most menial tasks to feel like the classiest broad on earth <3
Just write! I’m awful for being overly perfectionist with my work and I have just stopped reading through my writings. I really helps just spur on my creativity and breaks down that perfectionist block in my head. I’ve also heard that writing poems down then instantly burning them works as well for this.
Can’t believe those annoying fitness influencers were right. All it took was working out 5 times a week and I feel sane again. It could literally be just a 45 min walk or 2 hour leg day at the gym but I actually feel so much better mentally and physically.
