stumbled on this yesterday and wow! i had heard his latest track on the NTS breakfast show the other week and didn’t really look it up although i enjoyed it then i stumbled on the track on the evil corp music app and my mind was blowwn—aboriginal australian artist keanu nelson, from a remote community called Papunya,, ive been really into alternative independent scenes in places all around the world and this is deff the most interesting thing ive found so far. the legend also has an NTS show of his own,, plays his own music mostly as well as some monologues in the native language and im hyper intrigued by this because im not privy to any aboriginal knowledge or context and this tickles my brain in such a nice way!

📻ive been obsessing over nts lately. i used to listen mostly just to clairo’s monthly shows (they’re a whole recommendation of their own lol) and maybe a couple other sets here and there but the past month and especially this past week, its what i’ve listened to the most. it’s made me fall in love with music and audio all over again. great way to discover new music and genres and go deeper into whatever your taste are. so refreshing and theres a discord too which is very sweet. support if u can, 50% of the proceeds go to the artists:)

im sure many of you know about it already but...cool internet radio station that i have found to be a great way to find new stuff to listen to. all sorts of genres and music from all over the world, guest mixes by artists you may know and like, and the In Focus series is a fun way to dive into a favorite artist's deep cuts.
