And I’m pretty sure it’s that my job is draining me of my life force at this point lol Restorative or yin yoga helps me with this as counterintuitive as it may sound because it forces me to truly and deeply rest but I’ve been slacking lately!!
<3 petition for us both to get a job that doesn't suck the life out of us!!! I have also been slacking on an exercise routine and have not been eating enough foods with nutritional value lol... that's probably most of the answer right there but for now I just have to complain that i am TIRED
I’m not the most active yogi but I do find it to be really restorative — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I’ve also had a sore shoulder lately, in large part due to stress, and yoga has felt incredible to stretch it out and help me move my body in positive ways. It’s a great indoor activity on these days when leaving the house feels unpleasant.
I’m really obsessed with yoga in a v spiritual way. everyone should try yin yoga, which calls for remaining in poses for anywhere from 5-15 minutes at a time. It’s incredibly challenging on every level and just so meditative and healing.
My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
