i don't know what it is but this song just makes me feel high, the extremely focused on one thing for hours type of high. gave the whole album a listen and it is scratching all the right corners of my brain.
such a classic by Autechre. it feels highly technological and robotic while also feeling super emotional. as if the music narrates an entire story in 7 minutes, complete with fast and slow parts, upbeat and dreary parts and some uncertainty of choices sprinkled throughout..
This is def on the surreal side, as there's no words or speaking. Just music, and cinemetography. It's by Daft Punk but it's not their music. It's basically designed after their Human After All album. It was made in 2007 but now in 2024 I find it even more profound!!! but this is deffff on the indie/thought provoking/lowkey side and not for everyone. i have it on dvd but it shows up on youtube a lot! xx here's a great write up on it from 2007 too!: http://thoughtsonstuff.blogspot.com/2007/12/daft-punks-electroma.html
my last break up i just sat under the tree we first talked to each other at and cried as many tears as i could. after that i decided to just walk around everywhere i had memories of us attached to that day and make new ones of only me, weirdly enough it always helps me find closure and focus on myself rather than dwelling on the past.
when I dont go back it feels like the last thing that happened there is frozen in time, repeating in my head. but when I return and just exist there calmly, it reminds me that time has moved on, that moment is over, and it wont happen again.
