I barely ever add stuff to my watchlist cause itโs usually a sure way to make me not watch it because itโs like it becomes old and not exciting one itโs in there. Iโd still like to watch these films but theyโve been on here for so long.
I see people feeling overwhelmed due to decision fatigue. What I do sometimes when it comes to watching movies or shows, is add it to my watchlist, then wait 'till the platform announces that a certain project from said watchlist is leaving in order to watch it. I do this 'cause I find it brings me a diverse list of projects to watch, that if I had there in perpetuity, I would've never touched otherwise. It's simple but helps me into actually clicking on things I've been meaning to watch. It's a good way to take advantage of your subscriptions too. That way, I feel like I give it enough use instead of spending an hour on the platform undecided and then logging off due to being unable to make a decision. Here's some things that were leaving Netflix in my country to show you an example: About Time (2013).
Brokeback Mountain (2005).
Christine (1983).
Step Brothers (2008).
The Social Network (2010).
The Terminal (2004).
Whiplash (2014).
World War Z (2013). All these movies, except for the last one, I'd never seen and like I said, it's a pretty diverse array. Even if not all of them are masterpieces, pushes me to actually do something with the content I say want to watch.
