a risograph is a japanese copy machine from the 80s that doubles as a printmaking machine... here are some little books and zines I've made on it recently (pls ignore my messy desk π«£)
i first did a linocut print for a class last year, and i bought some of my own tools (a little starter kit was like $19 at hobby lobby), and i love that i can make the design once and then print with it as many times as i want! the carving process is very meditative to me- it doesn't take much thinking once you have the design on the block. personally i prefer rubber carving blocks over lino because its much easier to cut tho
I've been in the habit of recreating print designs, or just creating my own, and printing them at any print shop I can find (local places, CVS, etc...) It unlocks a bit of your brain when you realize you can just design something and have it blown up on your wall for relatively cheap.
