Needed this so badly… when she said it would be difficult she was not kidding! I always love dragon pose it’s one of my favorites but the winged dragon was definitely very intense and challenging. Second night in a row of me falling asleep during a yin yoga video and waking up disoriented… let’s just call that a yoga nidra moment rather than the yoga equivalent of my grandfather falling asleep in his recliner watching America’s Got Talent
* Child’s pose, 3 min
* Cat-cow at first then transitioning into cat-cow with hip circles, 2 min
* Sphinx pose, 3 min
* Heart to earth pose, 3 min
* Reclining butterfly, 3 min
* Supported bridge with a block under my hips at half height, 3 min
* Supine twist, 2 min each side
* Happy baby, 3 min
* Savasana, 5 min I woke up this morning feeling soooo relaxed and heavy it was awesome
My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time.
