I always keep an inspirational quote saved on my phone to get me through hard times. Whether it’s something a family member told me or a line I saw on IG, those little reminders keep me grounded and remind me I’m built for this.
Read this somewhere on TikTok and it really stuck with me. “Just because things could’ve been different,
doesn’t mean they would‘ve been better. Romanticize what’s becoming —
Not what never did. Let go of the lingering, the doubts. If it didn’t unfold,
It wasn’t meant to hold you.” 🤍
My favorite quote from the book “The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse” is when the boy says, “what’s the bravest thing you’ve ever said?” And the horse says, “Help. Asking for help, isn’t giving up, it’s refusing to give up.”
I just always have to remind myself of that. I’m not sure why I’m so hard headed and apparently, I was born that way Maybe my journey on this earth is how to ask for help because I seem so obsessed with giving it. Another quote from the story that love that I feel is very good for our modern times is: “One day you will look back and see that when things were at their worst, you were at your best.”
I’m just trying to be my best.
Sometimes, you just need a bat phone—something off the grid, so you can protect your peace and not be so accessible. Boundaries are self-care, and sometimes the best vibe is do not disturb!
After a long day of work I need a lobster and some crab legs to wind down. Boiling Crab is my guilty pleasure—lobster, crab legs, all the sauces. It’s my comfort food!
Sea moss is my go-to wellness hack! Within just two days, I noticed a major difference in my bloating. It’s packed with minerals and helps with digestion.
