I don't think I can put into words how much I enjoy Wong Kar Wai’s filmography. Thanks god I live in a time where I can watch it for free.
My favorite is "In the Mood for Love." I've never seen such intimacy without any physical interactions. By physical interactions, I mean kissing or anything more. The main characters' relationship is pure affection. From the moment they meet, there's a spark between them.
for example, it seems to me that it is no coincidence that they move into the same apartment on the same day. their rooms are next to each other. their belongings are moved at the same time, and they even get mixed up with each other. for example, one of them ends up with the new neighbor's records.
they are going through similar difficulties in their relationships with their partners.
at the same time, they are not shy about expressing their feelings while being married. it is not often that you can see such a thing.
it is a very beautiful movie and an impeccable love story. The characters are insanely beautiful, the sets are stunning, and I'm not even mentioning the main character's dresses.
