I saw it the other day as part of a movie marathon, it’s one of my favourite films. The best part about seeing it in a fully packed cinema was seeing it with so many people who hadn’t seen it before; audible gasps from major plot reveals, people jumping in their chairs out of fear, so good.
I was lucky enough to see the premiere of it at Sundance for their midnight showing. I knew nothing. Ari Aster introduced it and apologized for it not being totally finished (there were a couple scenes where they hadn’t edited out strings and stuff). I couldn’t get it out of my head for a month.
