Bought their book over a year ago but finally flipping through it. Rarely have I found a style that I would actually wear every day. Needless to say that I'm obsessed. Currently looking for a resource to ID literally everything they wear. Someone HMU if they find one O_O
This early 2000s book takes you from Munich to Berlin London to new York on a wild fashion adventure that opens new avenues of thinking and inspiration! I found the boundary breaking art in this book so captivating! Also lots of pictures!!!
Read this Rick Owens interview for Vestoj from 2016. Itโs vulnerable and raw and full of wisdom. Including this nugget: โYou know, the interior designer Jean-Michel Frank had forty identical grey flannel suits in his closet: I always thought that was the height of modesty and extravagance at the same time. I love that.โ Also, I thoroughly enjoyed Chloe Wiseโs new book published by Almine Rech showcasing her works that use food and the female figure as an exploration of desire, consumerism, andโฆ. sex, lies, and videotape.
First of all, I love magazines. Second of all, I'm an ATX -> LA transplant trying to make it through the first year scaries.
Currently loving Dreamworldgirl Zine!! They've rly grown in popularity in the last few months which is crazy considering they only just put their second issue.
(click the link ^ if so) I have a galaxy brain idea to celebrate our new Partiful event alternative (Palantir ๐คฎ) that drops in 2 weeks. We're attempting to coordinate PI.FYI meet-ups all over the world (in over 50 cities) on the same weekend in September. It'll be a really special moment to come together and reinforce that this site is all about making new homies, discovering new things, and finding community. There are 150 cities across the globe that have at least 50 users here, so there's a high chance that there are lovely PI.FYI people near you. Fill out the form attached here if you're interested in helping with your city/town/area.
