by erin lecount aka baby florence and the machine. love this song bad. Also been listening to the new Lorde because that record sounds like it was cathartic as hell for her and I find parts of it nearly painfully relatable
maybe itβs just the yellowjackets-ness of it all but florence welch has been the soundtrack of my late winter, early spring. particularly dance fever. top tracks:
- girls against god
- girls against god
- girls against god
- girls against god
- dream girl evil
- cassandra
- hunger
- sky full of song
- girls against god
- the end of love
- are you hurting the one you love?
- girls against god oh i also definitely recommend girls against god!
heart-wrenching β horny β iconoclastic. i managed to get my hands on the indie-exclusive translucent red vinyl (i don't even own a record player!). the visuals are daring, raw... she really bared it all. her album concepts are always so innovative. the Solar Power music box (an all-paper eco-friendly alternative to a CD box) was stunning. i'm constantly inspired by her to lean harder in my authenticity, and move to the be at of my own drum. trust your instincts. look back on who you were as a kid: everything was always there. @LORDE i love you
stretching daily is, to me, where simply surviving ends and LIVING begins. Iβm bad at being good about it, but Iβm currently making a real effort to do it every single day.
