I am very into indulging these days, and not in the spending money kind of way, but in the making delectable things at home kind of way. Cafe Mutton has some of the best food around, but this crepe recipe is the only one I have the confidence to try at home. These crepes are buttery, syrupy, salty and delicious. I make them most weekends and weeknights. Recently I tried cooking the crepes in olive oil instead of butterâa culinary masterpiece if I do say so myself.
HOLY SHIT are these things good. I was recently in Barcelona and had an insanely delicious lunch at Quimet & Quiment. After the meal we asked for espresso. They served the espresso with this perfect cookieâŠ. Or crepe technically. So light, so crunchy, perfectly sweet and buttery. It is everything I want and more in a post-meal espresso companion.
I love sweet treats so much and homemade crepes are my favorites Im eating some before starting my study session and then I will watch the runway bride as a reward lol , organize my Pinterest boards , maybe read some articles, watch YouTube vlogs and yeah also Omg do Pilates in the evening
If youâre a fat & fluffy pancake person, please continue to the next rec. If you like crepes but want the flavor of pancakesâŠ. these are for you. Lucky for me, Alex and I have the same taste buds and food preferences. I am very thankful for that.
I know this might be controversial but I actually started doing this over the past few monthsâand I donât mean flatulating somewhere cruel like on the subway or in an elevator, but literally just walking on the street. I realized I do not care if it makes a noise as long as I personally canât hear it and pretend nothing has happened. Itâs really liberating and has even brought me to a much more philosophical question akin to "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" â but more like, âif I do something embarrassing but I donât perceive it or take note of anyoneâs reactions, is it actually embarrassing?â Maybe not?Â
Not to be a LAME-O but I'm always shocked when the bill comes during a meal where we didn't order drinks, it is SO much cheaper (and just as yummy) *chefs kiss*
I've never actually spent time in Jersey City but I have been meaning to go specifically to visit Moda Studio. They have such a beautiful, well curated collection & their prices are *great.*
