If you aren’t too precious about owning every book you’ve read, get into your local library’s queue ASAP! I always have 7-9 hold requests at my local Brooklyn Public Library location. The game is to mix hyped new releases with just-new-to-me books so I always have something to read. It took me two months to get Sally Rooney’s latest, but Glitch Feminism arrived in just a few days. You can even get cookbooks. Recent highlights: Deacon King Kong, The Plot, Black Food, Temporary.

I’m lucky to live in a neighborhood with a ton of Little Libraries and I use them often! Now whenever I finish a book that I know I won’t reread, I pop it in the Little Library. Declutterring and spreading the joy of reading at the same time! I also sometimes put little things I’m getting rid of in them like notepads, stickers, little accessories. Some people see this as a no-no but I figure that it’s a fun little come up to find. I’ve also found a few really great books in Little Libraries but I try to be choosy with what I take because I already have so many books to read.

stop going to Starbucks or McDonald's! delete X/Twitter and start posting on here or on Bluesky instead! stop legally streaming HYBE or SM Entertainment or any K-POP companies that refuse to see their artists as humans worthy of rights in the workplace! switch from Spotify to Apple Music or any other service that pay their artists more! we have so much power why do we forget
