The undisputed king of deadpan comedy in cinema. Every movie is a darkly hilarious little gem and they usually clock in at less than 80 min so they’re easy to watch. They’re also surprisingly sweet most of the time—if you’re into that sort of thing—and he was just nominated for an Academy Award—if you’re into that sort of thing—for Fallen Leaves. It's great.
