That I am much younger than I actually am

I am short and generally bubbly, so people always assume that I am younger than my actual age (which is wild to me). One time a few years ago, someone came to my door and asked me if my parents were home…my tattoos were highly visible… I said no and wasn’t lying 🤷‍♀️ When my son was first born, I had to bring something to my husband’s work, and the dad of a client asked who the teenage mother was (It was me, I was 31 lol). Personality things, I don’t know. I’ll have to ask some people and get back to you!

Old people (sometimes) dont mean harm they just dont know much

just ran into this old neighbour who used to be a professor at the top college in our country and he asked me when I graduated- I told him last summer and he started saying it’s been 6 months- do something kid, go do your masters or something 😭😭😭 i didn’t say anything cause im gonna start working soon but also didn’t know how to explain my “figuring it out” plan to him. i am extremely sensitive so at first felt a bit hurt but let it go cause of how little he knows about me.
