I have a new crush lol and in middle school this song always made me feel so like pathetic romantic yearning whatever type of way. Like “Well you’re wasting time if you’re trying to impress me, I waste all my time just thinkin’ of you” ?? I love that line. That’s usually what’s in my head, just that line and then I listen to the whole song to get it out
