i’ve known to wear earplugs for a long time now but yesterday i was without them and seriously fucked my ears up. wear hearing protection everybody your ears do not heal!!
I swear by these. Mighty enough for hours of techno, irresponsibly loud diy shows, etc. and they have great clarity/are so comfortable/are small. I walked out of a 3-hour Swans show thinking, "boy, I love not having tinnitus." ~$25 but so so worth it.
pretty sure i saw someone on here rec a clock radio instead of a phone alarm... now i don't open my eyes and immediately look at my phone and instead enjoy the classical and jazz from the college radio station in the morning. yes this ancient beast has a terrible speaker but the form factor is unrivaled
