one last post before i tuck myself into bed. watching a couple of episodes of game changer to chill out. here's my little setup of my ipad and the tiny fan that's been essential in this heat. i used to watch clips of whose line is it anyway on youtube, and got into collegehumour/dropout over the pandemic through their sketches and d20. game changer is still one of my favorite things they make! sam reich is like if jigsaw made his improv comedian best friends do unhinged things but was actually nice in the end. it's delightful. my favorite episodes are escape the greenroom and bingo, but you honestly can't go wrong with any of them. there are episodes available on their youtube for free if you want to see what i mean :)

a game show on dropout tv where the game changes every episode, and the contestants have to figure out the game as they play!! the guests are usually dropout cast members and other improv comedians, and the show is hosted by dropout’s CEO!! if you’re not a dropout subscriber, there are 6 episodes available on youtube for free!! out of the free episodes, sound impression challenge and sam says are my favs :)

for when you need to just feel good and weird and slightly less sad everyone i know who loves this show found it at a time that they were on the verge of a nervous breakdown. i don't know exactly why it appeals to people in crisis but it does. it's a silly talk show but it's also a show about community, kindness, being true to yourself and it's really fuckin fun

going to see challengers on my own today! and i'm very excited. i'm someone who actually doesn't mind going to the cinema alone. i've done it so many times over the years, and totally do not get people who say it's sad. if i lived somewhere where i could go to late night screenings on my own, i would do it all the time. sometimes i end up making a friend, sometimes i just get to sit and get sucked in and then i get to leave and choose my favorite place to eat. it's a nice way to spend a day on your own, and i think more people (especially people in their 20s) should take themselves on little dates.

if i had a comfort sitcom, this would be it :,) sadly it only has two short seasons, so i've seen every episode at least 10 times. (if you're going to watch it, make sure to look up the right episode order because it aired out of order.) when i'm at a loss for what i want to watch, i put it on. somehow despite having seen it a bajillion times, the gags still land. there's also something so inherently 2000s about it with its slightly outdated jokes and energy that i find charming. it's the same way i feel about 2 broke girls. it's just fun hjinks with people who are kind of messed up!!!

to me figs smell like summer. i love fig scents, especially if they smell a bit more green than fruity. my favorite perfume smells a bit like the green-ness(?) but also fresh, clean dirt after the rain. if not fig, i am very much a sandalwood person or blackcurrant one. i like smelling nice but not necessarily floral. :)
