i used to be a low power mode guy but it throttles the refresh rate on this new phone screen so slow and i like it to be fast. anyway yeah when i’m at the studio i try to stay off the phone but if im at my house or a friends house or the pub i could give a fuck i can charge phone there
It helps me keep my phone usage to a minimum while focusing (at uni or tedious tasks). It’s like muting your tv. When I do have to use it, it’s just way less stimulating. And my time on there is absolutely for essential stuff, without having to remind myself so. I’ve set a shortcut on my iPhone as 3x power button clicks. Boom! greyscale. It kinda works as a physical reminder to focus as well.
a few days ago, i tried out royallmonarch’s rec about keeping your phone on grayscale before bedtime, but i just ended up keeping it on grayscale all the time. the lack of color just decreases the dopamine i get from scrolling by like, 20% across the board, leading me to choose other activities over it more often. would recommend going the extra mile
leaves you susceptible to dating someone for too long because they play a role rather than it being about who they are. if you go in open to every situation, it will play out as its supposed to naturally (sometimes with a little nudge)
go drink some right now it’s good for your body and skin and has magical healing properties when consumed at the right times. currently it’s helping me beat a hangover
