Schuyler in general is fantastic as are the people he influenced (David Trinidad and I believe to some extent Trinidad’s contemporary Ed Smith) but he has such a particular control over form and space here
Schuyler was a mentor and friend of Trinidad, very long, very moving poems that feel very grounded, would also recommend the late Ed Smith (Punk Rock is Cool for the End of the World), who is irreverent yet lovely.
Now that the Red Wheelbarrow memes are extinct in the wild you can enjoy some real gems like "Peace On Earth" and "Danse Russe"
Look up some reading of his as well, I mean live performances, and he just SAYS the words in a way I cannot comprehend, no accents pauses or nothing he just SAYS it like it's always been
