lots to be said about writing your secrets down first, but iโve been getting lazy and just hashing out my shit live to my favorite audience. every walk from the function is a diary that talks back to me and lets me know when iโm onto some shit and/or thinking too catholically
Iโve had a diary/journal ever since I was in 2nd grade (shoutouts to Ameliaโs Notebook for sparking something in me). My journal is one of my most prized possessions. Itโs my confidante, my source of inspiration, my friend. Journaling has always allowed me to unapologetically express myself. Iโve learned to embrace my voice through writing. I love when I read back on past journal entries and be like, โDamn I wrote this?! This is poetry.โ
such a great way to get your thoughts down on paper whether you're venting, have mindblowing ideas or recall memories you don't wanna forget. i ran to Blick on Central Square to get myself an inexpensive journal and went back to my apartment to write my first journal entry about how excited i was to write my first journal entry
