Kudos for having the hard conversation and not avoiding it. That’s brave. Take deep breaths and ground yourself immediately beforehand. I always remind myself to s l o w down. If you have time, think of your fear/worst case scenario. How would that feel? Sit with that and think about how you’d handle it. No matter what it is, you can handle it, even if it feels awful. I like to believe that whatever needs to happen will happen. You’re putting things into action and whatever the outcome will be for your benefit.

okay easier said than done, but having lived with anxiety since a kid it's easy to let life be lead by the fear of stuff and I've avoided so much and procrastinated so much. The first big thing I think I've learned as an adult is that the most important thing is just to keep moving and giving it a go. Like tonight I had a shift with a coworker I haven't worked with much at all, just us two and I was SO anxious. Me of two years ago would immediately pull a sickie but me of today just gave it a go!! I didn't blame myself for being quiet or awkward and just gave myself space and turns out she's SO lovely and now I'm not so anxious about working one on one with her again tomorrow. it's fine to be anxious but you can't let it halt you in life!!! take it slow, do it scared, do it quietly but give it a go and don't immediately blame yourself if you get things wrong. there's lots of other little moments like this I could list from lately but I'll spare you that !!!!

is hard no matter what it is but so rewarding. i had to have a difficult conversation tn that i’ve been dreading and anxious about all day and now i feel so much better that i’m on the other side of it. you can do it!!

Lately been challenged to face a lot of my fears but instead of thinking I have to ”David and Goliath“ it out, I’m letting go of that deep need to want control of the outcome. That probably looks so different to all of us, but it is an option! stay classy san Diego

Humans have always danced. It is part of who we are, yet we have been conditioned to be self conscious, to think that we do not move our bodies good enough. Dancing is beyond judgement. Dancing is not a skill, it is our soul moving through our bodies, expressed in movement. Dancing is healing. Dancing is bodily autonomy. Dancing is FUN!
