Self care day is just holistic cheat day... for me its usually,,, not pretending to be normal,, and then not pretending to do self care tasks that i should be doing,, and then just sleeping and going on tiktok all day and not giving a shit about anything that isnt giving me dopamine

It feels a lil indulgent. But sometimes you gotta do you and have some alone time. Cook a nice meal for you and your cat. Take a fuckin bath. Go to bed early. idk i think it’s good every once in a while, even tho the whole self care thing is a lil cliche

I think I always want to have a day of nothing in theory. Like if I've had a lot on one day I WANT my next day to be completely free to like 'recover' or something. But that empty day is ALWAYS sad and makes me go insane. I hate having to do something after already doing something else but it always always makes me feel better once it's done. It doesn't even have to be a proper event or involve other people necessarily I think I just need to make sure I've got some sort of plan for every day of my life going forward because it gives me something to get out of bed for and makes me feel good. :)

People who dont get enough sleep are way more likely to get neurodegenerative diseases like alzheimers and parkinsons. also reading. doesn't matter if its a gossip magazine or an ayn rand essay... exposing ur brain to new concepts and problems and then considering them... thats what ur brain is made for. thats what she craves I wanna add a source but im just gonna google the same stuff u google tbh
