i feel like i’ve rec’d this before, but it really is so good. medieval, religious horror with evil angels, a corrupt monk, a disgraced knight, a big creature in the river, murderous statues, etc.
insane medieval horror. kept me up because it was so harrowing and gross but also so so gripping. i literally emailed the author afterwards because it was so good
the salt grows heavy (medieval horror short stories) master and margarita (russian ‘comedy’ about demons and hell) and maybe i’ll finally finish weaveworld (fantastical and strange, with a lot of body horror and ghosts)
