Such a quiet healing book that brings calmness and hope. Short and easily read at night-time for good dreams Would appreciate book recs like this one P.S. Alas Honeydome cookies by Kuremiyado arenāt real. I would love to buy them and reuse the tin just like the librarian
By Keiko Kawakami 221 pages, its about a girl struggling with loneliness and mental health issues. It touches on issues of alcoholism. Its sosoososo good!!! Its not plot heavy, it may seem boring to people since not a lot happens during it. It focuses more on her and her lonliness, but its one of my favorites!!
Both are very short very sweet very feel good. Nice to read two small books back to back that really didnāt have any downer energy and I could loan to my mom and she enjoyed! Good vibes and easy reads.
The best work of fiction (inspired by truth) that Iāve ever read. Yuzuki writes with such nuance x rhythm, against a backdrop of absurdity, womanhood, and FOOD. Dream. Thereās some sort of pendulum of truth and lies that speaks to the human experience so masterfully.
I havenāt been here for more than half a year, canāt even say why (although no, I can, but I wonāt). And luckily it didnāt change, itās still a cozy and friendly community with love for the best things modernity has. Thanks for saving it as it is.
I recently discovered mine, Samsung CD Yepp to be exact, and it changed the way I listen to music. I started listening to full albums again instead of just singles you can easily stream. For me itās not about sound quality, although it matters of course, but mostly about consciousness. Since then I collected my mini-collection of CDs I will pass to my children. Kinda regret I got rid of old phones, especially BenQ-Siemens EL71, but hope to thrift it one day
