it feels so empowering to walk around wearing ethnic clothes in a โmodernโ city where the standard fashion is deeply influenced by the west. i will always love u, sarees <3 also, this is my mumโs saree, and many sarees are heirlooms passed down in the family. itโs quite literally, wearing your culture, carrying the stories of your ancestors with you! maybe this is why i like thrifted clothes lol
i'm back ! here's a little recap of what i've been up to:
- had my first relationship (and my first breakup)
- coloured my hair purple
- finished my final year of college
- moved back home from the city my college is in
- started freelancing (i make illustrations!)
- made art commissions to help financially support a palestinian family
- started reviewing matcha around my city (attached a photo of my friend and i at a matcha rave??)
- and i'm working on trying to be more communicative. how are u guys :D
