very cool little brunch sandwich shop in paris! i visited there with my boyfriend a week ago (per his request), and they had a japanese chef in the kitchen that day making a limited menu of chicken katsu or veggie tempura sandwiches (we shared veggie tempura bc i’m vegetarian and we also got there late so they ran out of chicken), potato croquette, and a small bowl of curry. we both agreed it was one of the best sandwiches we’ve ever had.
tyler and i had to stop by palace after looking at wedding venues in maine yesterday!!! (eeeek!) we usually get their pancakes but sadly they were sold out by the time we got there. went with the french toast (as our dessert side, obviously) and we were sooo happy we tried! a new favorite, look at that melted butter 🥲
i love a good americano. one of the simplest and tastiest variations on coffee. tastes even better in europe with a hand rolled cigarette. cigarette not pictured.
my boyfriend got me the stardew valley cookbook for my birthday and i want to make every single recipe but most of them are soooo complicated like how tf am i supposed to recreate void mayonnaise (the strange bun recipe calls for TWO WHOLE LOBSTERS)
