picking a color and calling it “my color”

It just makes being in the world so much more fun. When I see a door or a sweater or a piece of art in this color I’m like “oh my gosh they painted that house my color!” and it makes me happy. My color can be anyone else’s color, or color without ownership, but in my head it’s only mine! My friends have joined in and that makes me feel even more awesome when they go “Ayden look it’s your color!” very sweet I love it :)

Wear ethnic clothes

it feels so empowering to walk around wearing ethnic clothes in a ‘modern’ city where the standard fashion is deeply influenced by the west. i will always love u, sarees <3 also, this is my mum’s saree, and many sarees are heirlooms passed down in the family. it’s quite literally, wearing your culture, carrying the stories of your ancestors with you! maybe this is why i like thrifted clothes lol

i love love love documenting my life in little digital snippets. i am a scrapbooker at heart and i use my instagram as my digital diary <3 this is my most recent photo edit, where i matched the colours of the photo to eyeshadow shades 😋
