Should get a US release, at least NY or LA, go see it, or see it now if you’re in France. Touching, small, funny, human, delightful film with non-actor local French Jurassien cast (eastern France). 90 minute runtime.

I really enjoyed Jacques Audiards A Prophet, which is about life in prison also Claire Denis' Beau Travail it was probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing movies I've seen and I highly recommend Lukas Dhonts Close, I can't even describe how devastating this film was, it's a Belgian film but they speak french so I'd say it counts, it's a must watch imoo.

It's so important to interact with media outside what you regularly interact with. If you liked Anatomy of a Fall, there's a chance you'll like some of other films that came out recently.
My top 3 are: La Vénus d'argent, Un métier sérieux, and Le Règne animal.

Viewed this flick at Anthology Film Archives on Thursday night. Incredible movie about a donkey, but mostly just life - joys and sorrows and loss and love. It touched me deeply.

I simply love the library. I just moved to a new city and I’m looking for work and I can plop myself down in the library, go on my laptop and look for jobs, leaf thru some books, the membership gets me free tix to cultural institutions and free streaming, in my branch there is even a cute patio with comfy chairs to work outside! A blessing and one public thing US cities do really well

Got lasik about a year ago and fell off on using lubricating eye drops. Started up again and it’s incredible how dry eye can make you feel fatigued and like ugly I don’t know how else to describe it. Your eyes might be dry just from staring at a screen even if you haven’t had lasik. Something to consider, remembering to use them has made me feel like a thriving human again whenevr I notice I’m tired and losing focus for no reason
