It's romantic in the right amount and positive. It just makes me believe in love. This photo reminds me of this song.

I have someone in mind as I listen to this, but itāll never happen. My unrequited love. So I will just feel feelings through music. You would think in your 40s you will be done with these feelings, but it is pervasive for some of us. Allo darlinā - dreaming
will you go out with me tonight
lose it on a disco floor
take the night bus with me tonight
frost on the window
it's freezing out here on the pavement
but here in your arms
it's heaven
i can wait for you now
but not forever
i have tried everything i know
to make you understand
this is not a game for broken hearts
played by a lonely band
we've both got so much to lose
but here in your arms
it's heaven
i can wait for you now
but not forever
i was surprised by how happy i was
don't ask why it's just because
down by the harbour in the dawn
it's not a star it's a satellite
the thought of it keeps me from sleeping
or am i already dreaming?
A new version of an old song; an old song, āLāAmour Toujoursā by Gigi DāAgostino, made slower and more lethargic by a teenage Lithuanian DJ. A song about dreams, about the things youāve been waiting for, coming down to you, but only in your mind. A tale as old as time!In London in the Noughties I never went to Italo disco clubs. But my buddy Joel, a fantastic furniture designer, did. He told me the first time he went, as a teenager, he was standing in line outside, hoping to get in, and an elegant lady stepped out of the club wearing a silk gown, smoking, walking a ferret on a leash. Thatās how he knew he was in the right place.DāAgostino wears a lot of hats. Often he dresses like a pilot. Heās been a mega Italo disco star since the Eighties, his music gives the feeling of driving around Tuscany at sunset in a sports car. His āBitter Sweet Symphonyā is sublime. The sound of Italy and England in perfect romantic harmony; Byron swimming to Shelley across the Bay of Poets.
This movie is beautiful and funny from the beginning to the very end. One, if not the, best coming of age movie!
And the opening song is perfect for the opening scene it really made me feel in the snow.
Just a lovely experience.
