It's a teensy bit over (175 pages) but it's a spectacular read! i love kawakami's style and this book just draws you in so if you haven't read it already i really recommend it!
I love love love this story and the way the author explored the topics of gender roles/relationships, womenβs bodies, and loneliness. such an intimate book and I love her writing style, wish I could emulate that sort of intimacy in my writing too!!!!
By Keiko Kawakami 221 pages, its about a girl struggling with loneliness and mental health issues. It touches on issues of alcoholism. Its sosoososo good!!! Its not plot heavy, it may seem boring to people since not a lot happens during it. It focuses more on her and her lonliness, but its one of my favorites!!
