Prosciutto. Light of my life, fire of my loins. My sin, my soul. Pro-ciu-tt0. There’s something about a strip of glistening, rose-pink cured meat that I just can't seem to resist, a weakness that earned me the nickname ‘ham hands’ growing up. Which I don’t often share with people but here we are.
- Baguette
- Prosciutto
- Your cheese of choice (preferably payoyo) or a saltier/creamy cheese
- 1 or 2 fig slices
- Arugula
- 1 side of bread with mayonnaise
- 1 side of bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, a little bit of flaky salt and pepper I promise you, a 10/10 if you like these flavors
aldi has great stuff for charcuterie—just get two or three cheeses, some crackers, almonds/nuts, berries/grapes and a jam/honey spread if you’re feeling fancy! Maybe even some meats! I find organic looking charcuterie to be so gorgeous so it doesn’t have to be perfectly neat—build with your 🫶🏻
