It is an art, like piano tuning, since the conditions change with the seasons. But when you pour out, say, a Powerade Zero and it turns to slush right in the glass, there is little as satisfying.
Considering the fact that I know almost nobody with an ice maker built into their fridge who isn't my mom, the countertop ice machine is a criminally under-discussed revolution in kitchen technology. I HATE refilling those horrible trays and spilling water everywhere and never having ice when I need it. Mine is hot pink and cranks out so much ice in like 15 minutes. Honestly changed my life. I make fancy shaken cocktails on a whim now
If you use a drip coffee maker and if it’s programmable well then go right ahead and program it! It’s pretty easy to do and waking up to coffee all brewed and waiting for you is truly one of life’s sweet pleasures ☕️😊
