For me, hair is so closely intertwined with my identity, so keeping it fresh helps me keep seeing myself as cool and mysterious and interesting!

I just cut off like a foot of hair? Maybe 8 inches, I’m not sure? Anyway, hair is now in a shaggy bob and it used to go down past my bra band and I feel really generally good.
I def believe hair holds memories and other things and even though this was just inspired becUse I’m tired of having tangles in the winter and not a major life event I still feel a lot lighter.
Also showers are so easy and saving a ton of $ on shampoo and conditioner.

Every few months I am swarmed by an unavoidable urge to change something about my physical appearance. I usually end up cutting or dying my hair, but it has never ended pretty. I walk around with a Claireesque haircut for months. I should look for more sustainable outlets for my drastic impulses or find a way to control them altogether.

It's a new mindset, a reset, a new era, a new embodiment of who you are and expresses so many identities within yourself. Your heritage, your sexual orientation, what you've been through and where you are headed. Hair is meant to grow and change. As are you. No hair is nothing bad at all. Its' freeing. Rock that shit.

Why not go through the process of blending those images yourself? Why not use process as an experiment? Why AI? What part are you playing? What makes it yours?
I think AI is impersonal. I think it is unethical when it has relied on the theft of actual people’s actual physical (and because of the nature of art, often time emotional) labor. I also think it is unnecessary in creating art. I also think the environmental impacts are atrocious. I also think AI’s biggest supporters are being maliciously ignorant because it’s a fun new toy.
Is it ease? Is it efficiency? People talk about accessibility as if children don’t use crayons and stickers! As if graffiti artists don’t use postal labels as sticker, as if sand mandalas don’t exist, as if cardboard and tape aren’t in over abundance.

Maybe this isn’t so much a fix for staff, but I feel like the reposting of things has gotten a bit lame. I don’t want the “Everyone” feed to be the same post 20 times with nothing added, especially when the thing being re-rec’d isn’t even a real reccomendation in the first place. I like this app because it is different than Instagram and Twitter and tumblr and the like. I feel like people are trying to interact similarly to those other apps here. I feel like we are all drifting back into creating the same social media AGAIN.
My vote would be to remove the feature entirely, but I see how it can be used thoughtfully
