I love coffee. Iced, black, maybe a dash of oatmilk here and there. I drink it to feed my soul a little energy in the morning. Although it 100% in certain cases has gone too far to bleed into the capitalistic culture we live in. Curious to know your thoughts on this “hot take”. This is not a bash on my culinary creatives.💋
losing the pretentiousness that is drinking a black cold brew — shifted to drinking lattes and felt uppity; it’s too sweet for me. The perfect balance of espresso and milk and the only coffee I crave to warm my hands. Don’t wanna live in extremes, but maybe in-between.
Other places prefer espresso but me, I like sipping on a big ol cup o joe. Iced coffee is also a delicacy that is not really enjoyed in the same way in other nations.
I love coffee in all shapes and forms but if I have the time in the morning I will heat milk and add it and keep adding until the coffee is a perfect light tan color and I’ll sip on that for a while. Ideal ratio is 1/4 coffee (drip or french press or whatever you prefer) and 3/4 milk (I use oat but you do you). More like coffee flavored milk at that point I suppose. It feels luxurious to sit and sip a warm frothy mild drink when I have the time.
As spring comes around, bringing sunny days after a long reflective period amidst the dreariness that is winter.. this song has carried me through slow mornings, bringing a cheery and hopeful mindset within the future. Missing my home-town friends.
I love forest green. It brings a calm and earthy feel to things, in clothing/decor. Nature has always been my safe space so I feel as though it came naturally. My late high school years I coined it as my favorite color.
